RUN-0FF ELECTION INFORMATION
We are heading to a run-off. The second-place candidate requested a run-off election to be conducted on Tuesday, November 7th. Our campaign captured 2,256 votes (49% of the votes) on Oct. 10th compared to the second-place finisher who garnered 1,294 votes - a 962 difference. But our campaign was just a few votes short of the 50 percent plus one vote threshold required by state law. So, we will have to go back to the polls on Tuesday, November 7th. We will work even harder in this election to turn out our vote. I was overwhelmed with all the calls and positive comments so let's go and make this vote FINAL. Our Town Council needs diversity. We need a strong and stable voice for West Cary. Let's get it on!. EARLY VOTING INFORMATION FOR CARY TOWN COUNCIL DISTRICT D Run-Off
